Our Findings:

Based on best data currently available on ODOT site from 2014 for Columbus, Ohio (see image 1). We chose one section of our route (see image 2) to explain how studies and numbers have been applied. Based on the studies completed, we had found that busies times are from 6:30a to 6:30pm which is 74.1% of daily traffic (see image 4). Based on ODOT statistics, throughout the day – you should expect about 91,998 vehicles to see truck from one side or another at some point of our route (based 74.1% of 124,141 average daily – image 3). We had found that based on “Travelboards” study – there is usually 2.2 people for each vehicle traveling.

Based on our analysis it should be 202,375 people seeing your ad daily. Calculating this number based on 22 work days and we will get 4,452,250 people to see our truck within one month

SUMMARY

91,998 vehicles per day

2.2 people per vehicle

202,375 – people / impressions per day

4,452,250 – people / impressions per month

8 ads per truck

55,531 impressions per month per ad

$3000 average cost per month

Calculations of CMP:

556,531 / $3000 = 185.5 impressions per dollar

1000 / 185.5 = $5.39 – cost of 1000 impressions

This means it is $0.005 per impression
